Catches Update
July has been poor with steady rain and fish running through but there are fish being seen and this week 5 fish caught and similar lost but not many rods trying!! Sea Trout also running on daily tide and rain drawing them up so let’s hope the rest of August is better as fish are running through.
Kyle Catches Update for June
Following a quiet spell after the opening days, catches picked up again with a few quality fish coming through. Les Whiteman had a 12lb fish on the 22nd , last Saturday Douglas MacLeay had a 6lb fish from the Gangway and on the 29th Don MacKay had fish of 20lb and 12lb from the Honeypot. Total for the month was 27 salmon. A few good fish have been lost and the finnock and sea trout are starting to show up.

As we know fish are short everywhere but we opened with 4 nice fish; 10+12+18+7lb and 1 fish on Saturday with several lost. Please take extra care handling fish in this hot dry weather and all enjoy your fishing. Douglas
