We are holding our AGM on Wednesday 25th March 2026 at Edderton Community Hall at 19.30 hrs. Come along and take part in what is going on in the fishing world before the season starts.

September ended up a poor Month with very little fish being caught and not many fishing.

However for the season we had over 40 fish caught, which in down a little on last year but was quite good considering, as it seems to have been a very poor season for all the rivers in the Country.

We has some exceptional Sea Trout this summer from 2LB to 6LB giving good sport to visitors and locals but unfortunately with any little spate they seem to vanish to the rivers.

There will be an AGM to be held at the start of next year, details of which will be given on here. As these are challenging times and the club needs all the support you can give it. We look forward to seeing members and any one interested in the club or becoming a member in the future, or even joining us on the committee.

We thank everyone involved, especially the ever young Kenny, who still continues to keep the white shed operational is always good for information and a chat.

Would all members please send in their returns for the season, whether you caught anything or not, as we need the number of days fished as well as the catch numbers or not, as the case may be.

Only 1 fish caught this week, another very quiet week.

Another very slow week with only 2 fish caught by Alvin Campbell and Kevin Minock

Only 1 fish caught this past week, with 2 being caught in the previous week. Very quiet all-round with rivers running very low due to the absence of any significant rainfall.

We are now into the last month of the season, so we are all hoping for some improvement.

A few rods in the water this week with 2 Salmon, 8 Grilse and a nice 3LB Sea Trout caught.
